ANSWERS
How many packs do you need us to sell?
We do not stipulate any minimum numbers that we expect you to sell. You will not be asked for any money, or to pay for a visit without selling packs. Back
With such high operating costs, how do you do it?
We plan our flying very carefully, keeping our flying time down to an absolute minimum. We will often leave base for weeks at a time, hopping from town to town.
Back
We don't think the parents in our area can afford your packs. Will you still come?
We take every case on its merits. Where the project is greeted with enthusiasm we find we get sufficient sales, even in the poorest of areas. Back
Do I need to inform the school's neighbours?
Although not compulsory, if your school has buildings nearby we offer you a draft letter so, as a courtesy, you can inform them of the visit.

We have some large families at our school, and don't feel that they will want lots of copies of the aerial view. Can we split up your packs to sell them cheaper?
Our packs have been designed as a child's book and because of this are VAT exempt. If they were to be split they would then be subject to VAT. That would lose any benefit, so instead, we have introduced a large discount for families buying for more than one child.

We only have a small field/playground. Can you still land?
Helicopters are very versatile but there are limits. Before we can arrange a visit we must come and view your site. If we find it is too small to land, then we would discuss the possibility of an alternative site - such as a nearby playing field.
Back
What permission do I need to get?
None. We will gain all the necessary permissions required.
Back
What type of helicopter will you bring to my school?
If you are in a built up area then we must bring a twin engine helicopter. If you have an open country site we may bring one of our single engine helicopters.
Back
What about insurance?
We carry £15 million third party insurance on all our twin engined helicopters. The single engine helicopters carry £10 million insurance. These limits are as required by the Civil Aviation Authority. We can provide you with copies of these and a copy of our Air Operators Certificate if required.

We are celebrating a special occasion this year, can we decide the day that you come on?
If you let us know early enough we will make every effort to plan our schedule to accommodate your school.
Back
When do you operate?
Our season runs from early April through to late September.
Back
What if the weather is bad on the day?
We will discuss your local conditions at 8.30am over the telephone. If the decision is made to cancel then we will suggest "fall-back" dates that are mutually convenient.

Our usual photographer pays us commission. Do you?
Our overheads are much higher than your usual photographer, but we still offer guaranteed commission based on percentage of sales.
The commission is paid on a sale and return basis. For further information on the payment options and commission details, please call us on 020 8236 2400.

Remind us again - what do we get out of it?
A helicopter landing at your school, an entertaining and professional talk, aerial photographs for each class for geography work, a "Big Book" for literacy hour, a "Teachers Resource Book" covering all the main curriculum subjects… and a very special day to remember!

It all sounds great, how do I book?
Simply click here for our contact page where you can email, phone or fax us. We will then arrange to visit your school by road, to check that the site is suitable, before arranging a date.
